The 2023 Season has sadly come to an end! However, HPCC has enjoyed a huge amount of success throughout the season!
HPCC 1st XI – Winners of The T. Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League (DIVISION 3) – The first XI played with a fantastic attitude and drive this season to take home first place in Division 3. Scoring a brilliant 320 Points, 54 clear from second place. With this the Firsts will move up to Division 2 in 2024 and hopefully keep up the top notch performance and strive for another good result next season!
HPCC 2nd XI – Winners of The T. Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League (DIVISION 10) – WOW! What a result for the Second XI! It has been a long while since the club has had the resources to put out a full second Saturday team and what a performance. With Simon Cheek at the helm the Second XI played in a very decisive and commanding way to gain promotion in their first season! With nine wins and only the one loss the seconds took first place and secured promotion to Division 9 for the 2024 season! As with the First XI the seconds will continue to push for another fantastic result next season!
HPCC Women’s XI – Winners of the Anytickets Essex Women’s T20 League (SOUTH DIVISION 2) – The wins keep on coming! The Women’s XI, once again in their first full season in the league, have stormed to a first place finish and a show of sheer dominance with 6 wins and not a single loss! Yet another promotion for the club and the Ladies make their way up to the South Division 1 of the Anytickets Essex Women’s T20 League. We will say it again! The Women’s XI will be aiming to push on and become a top team in Division 1!
HPCC ALLSTARS – Winners of the Geoff Newman Trophy – Our Tuesday nights turned competitive for the Geoff Newman Trophy and the “PEVEREL POWERHOUSE” turned up and took home the silverware! With a outrageous 5 win – 0 loss campaign and a frankly unbeatable 2.17 Net Run Rate the Allstars dominated the Tournament! But Tuesdays aren’t all about trophies, we played 11 friendly games this season were the club continued the tradition of hosting a fun evening T20 match with a fantastic, inclusive, for the love of the game atmosphere! Results aren’t the aim, giving people access to the game and introducing it to the next generation is our aim for the Allstars!
HPCC Sunday XI – 3rd in the Warsop Sunday League (Division 2A) – A respectable showing in the Warsop Sunday League this year. After a reshuffle from last season to now the league has been split into smaller divisions. We ended the season with a 3 win – 2 Loss record. As with the Tuesday night T20 Team the Sunday team is another place where we practice the Allstars Philosophy of giving people access to the game and playing for the love of the game! The team played a further 7 Friendlies throughout the season where 30+ individuals made an appearance for the team!
